This year has been such a great year for me as I got to experience new places, bond with new people and capture precious moments for my clients. There has been many firsts for me this year and I look forward to seeing what the new year brings in for my business. 2016 was great, but 2017 will be even better, at least I hope so :).

As we reflect on the year, I just want to encourage you all to stay true to yourself, create, and never underestimate your ability to do better.

Below you will find a set from my most recent styled session. Regardless of my busy schedule, I always plan a session like this to stay creative, express myself and also to collaborate with some amazing talents. Through my love for photography, I have discovered my love for styling table scapes, flowers, and even making things with my hands. Of course, I am no where near perfect, but it never really hurts to try.

I have finally managed to carve some time out of my busy schedule to share some of my work with you guys. I have a pile of work I can't wait to reveal, but it will take me some time to go through it all. I am hoping to get back into the groove of blogging as I have missed it so much.

Today I am so happy to share this beautiful session with you all. Chris is a dear friend of mine and I am getting to know more and more about his gorgeous girlfriend Ruth as time passes by. For this blog post I am doing something a bit different. Chris and Ruth shared the story of how they met with me and I want to share it with all of you. Listening to their story and seeing their life go on is such a blessing to me. Through it I can see the power of a gracious and loving God and what love can really do in someones life.

Chris:

Ruth and I met when we were very young. We were in our early teens when I visited Honduras. I visited one week for 4 years and we liked each other from then,  but the language and distance barrier was too much for two young teens. Facebook had just been invented and smartphones were not a thing yet.  We went 5 years without talking until we found each other on Facebook. Later I asked her for her phone number and we started talking on WhatsApp as friends. A year later, I realized that she still was the girl I had liked before and someone I would want to be with.  I told her that and she said she felt the same way.  I had improved my Spanish greatly from talking to her already and by using Google Translate. I decided to find a tutor and take classes and I did.  I visited her again in 2014 and the rest is history. God has blessed me with everything I've wanted in a woman.  We look to the future now, excited for what's in store and we are grateful to have each other.

I never expected to be writing about Chris and our relationship.
We met when we were still very young, and none of us knew God's plan for our lives.
A feeling was growing in us both but we thought it was impossible. Several things made us believe it could not happen. Age (we were very young), the language, the distance with him in the Bahamas and I in Honduras. His last time in Honduras was in 2007 and afterwards each of us went on with our lives and we did not know what happened.
After 5 years we started to speak again. Facebook and Google were helpful. A few months later we realized that the feeling of love that was when we were kids still remained. After all that time I knew he was the man God had for me. I love him too much. We have gone through many difficulties but we get ahead, and despite distance and language problems we are together !!
We are now waiting to spend life together and serve God.
God's plan is perfect even when it seems that its impossible, the pieces fall in place to fulfill His plan.

Nunca imaginé estar escribiendo sobre Chris y nuestra relacion.
Nos conocimos Cuando aun eramos muy jovenes. Ninguno de los dos sabiamos el plan de Dios para nuestras vidas.
Un sentimiento estaba creciendo en ambos pero pensamos que era algo imposible. Varias cosas hacian creer que no podría pasar, la edad, (éramos muy jóvenes), el idioma la distances, el en Bahamas y yo en Honduras. Su ultima vez en Honduras fue en 2007. Cada quien siguio su vida y no sabíamos que pasada.
Despues de 5 Años volvimos  hablar. Facebook y Google fue de mucha ayuda. Unos meses después nos dimos cuenta que el sentimiento de amor que estaba cuando eramos niños aun permanecía. Después de todo ese tiempo sabia que es el hombre que Dios tiene para mi. Lo amo demasiado. Hemos pasado por muchas dificultades pero sabemos  salir adelante, ni la distancia e idioma an sido un problemas estamos juntos!!
Ahora estamos Esperando pasar la vida juntos y servirle a Dios.
El plan de Dios es perfecto aun cuando vemos que es imposible, el coloca las piezas en su lugar para cumplir su plan.)
